Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop and test software with embedded Linux.
- Design, implement, deploy, and operate embedded software functions for Leo Customer Terminal devices.
- Develop embedded software using Rust, C++, and C.
- Participate in requirements, design, coding, testing, deployment, and production operations across the software development lifecycle.
- Design and analyze state machines in a secure compute environment.
- Support customer terminal deployments and debug production systems.
- Design and debug software used to test embedded software on Leo Customer Terminal platforms.
- Write technical design specifications.
- Collaborate with hardware engineering, software development, product, and operations teams.
- Mentor engineers or lead technical design and architecture work.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 5 years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- At least 5 years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team leader.
- Preferred: at least 5 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
