Responsibilities
- Design, build, and evolve scalable automated testing frameworks from the ground up.
- Develop test software, automation tools, and reporting solutions for front-end and back-end components.
- Transform manual test coverage into maintainable, high-value automated test suites.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Selenium Grid, Docker, and related tools.
- Test APIs, integrations, relational databases, CRM/ERP systems, and third-party technology endpoints.
- Work as an embedded Quality Engineer to improve testability, influence design, and support quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with DevOps, engineering, product management, and leadership across distributed teams and time zones.
- Use AI tools to improve test generation, code quality, analysis, and productivity.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a Software Engineer in Test with hands-on experience building scalable automation frameworks.
- Strong experience with Node.js, Angular, WebdriverIO, Jasmine, Mocha, Selenium, PyTest, or comparable technologies.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or similar programming languages.
- Experience converting manual testing into reliable, maintainable automated test suites.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments as an embedded Quality Engineer.
- Exposure to iPaaS, SaaS, cloud-based platforms, distributed systems, and integrations.
- Hands-on experience testing REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML payloads, relational databases, CRM/ERP systems, and third-party platforms.
- Experience with Postman, Jenkins, Docker, VirtualBox or Hyper-V, npm or yarn, JMeter, JIRA, GitHub, and related toolchains.
- Experience leveraging AI tools for test generation, code quality, analysis, or productivity.
- Ability to read vendor API documentation and independently navigate complex integration landscapes.
- Strong communication, ownership, collaboration, and risk-articulation skills, with flexibility to support cross-time-zone work and critical releases.
