Base Salary
$216k - $236k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust, efficient, production-ready algorithms for robotic grasping and manipulation.
- Apply advances in robotics to practical industrial manufacturing problems.
- Translate complex partner requirements into reliable and functional technical outcomes.
- Improve the robotics software framework and contribute to a reliable robotics product.
- Integrate and validate solutions across diverse industrial tasks in collaboration with roboticists and application engineers.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in robotic manipulation.
- 3 years of professional experience programming robotics software in C++ and Python, with a record of shipping production-quality code.
- Strong foundation in linear algebra, spatial transformations, and rigid body dynamics.
- Direct experience testing and iterating on physical robots.
- Preferred: PhD in Robotics and Machine Learning, Reinforcement Learning, or a related field focused on robotic manipulation.
- Preferred: Deep expertise with JAX, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Preferred: Experience developing the full robotics stack, including kinematics, motion generation, system integration, and testing.
