Responsibilities
- Define and drive architecture and design for Microsoft Fabric App platform products.
- Build scalable, resilient, mission-critical cloud application capabilities.
- Champion technical best practices that improve engineering productivity and execution quality.
- Partner with product managers, technical leads, and other stakeholders to determine user requirements across teams.
- Provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentoring to engineers.
- Deliver AI-powered capabilities for modern data-platform developer experiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 9+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience.
- At least 6 years of experience building commercial-grade software, including mission-critical cloud applications and large-scale, highly available services.
- At least 1 year of experience building full-stack applications.
- At least 3 years of experience in a technical leadership capacity, including coaching and mentoring.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree with 8+ years of technical engineering experience or a bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of technical engineering experience, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security-screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
