Base Salary
$132k - $211k/yr
Responsibilities
- Achieve mastery of Axon technologies and products.
- Lead business and technical presentations for leadership, IT departments, channel partners, and end users.
- Provide first-level technical support throughout the pre-sales cycle.
- Develop partner relationships and respond to customer RFPs and RFIs.
- Position Axon technology against competitive offerings and represent the company at field events.
- Own POC and pilot logistics, requirements assessment, testing, configuration, and customer orientation.
- Improve technical documentation and provide product feedback to Product Management, Sales, Development, Support, Engineering, and Marketing.
- Develop Statements of Work for Professional Services required for binding quotes.
Requirements
- Willingness to travel up to 50% and residence in the Central time zone of the United States.
- Associate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent field, or 5+ years of relevant experience.
- At least 5 years of customer-facing pre-sales or consulting experience.
- Experience selling SaaS-based solutions.
- Experience with networking, storage, virtualization, or related technologies.
- Experience with End User Compute or Cloud Computing is preferred.
- Knowledge of security, IPsec, InfoSec, hacking and exploitation tools, computer hardware, operating systems, storage devices, virtualization, cloud technologies, routing, switching, telecommunications, and Internet technologies.
- Experience developing Statements of Work or similar documents.
- Strong presentation skills, technical acumen, communication ability, independent judgment, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Network and telecommunications certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or WCNA are relevant qualifications.
