Base Salary
$99k - $329k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery, architecture design, evaluations, workshops, and infrastructure sizing for enterprise AI environments.
- Create and validate scalable architectures for LLM inference, fine-tuning, RAG, agentic AI, and multi-agent systems.
- Partner with sales teams, solution architects, customers, and ecosystem partners on qualification, proofs of concept, demonstrations, proposals, and RFI/RFP responses.
- Design GPU-accelerated compute, networking, storage, scheduling, multi-tenant, security, governance, and air-gapped solutions.
- Develop reusable reference architectures, solution blueprints, demonstrations, and technical enablement materials.
- Communicate customer feedback and platform requirements to SUSE Product Management and Engineering.
- Explain complex AI infrastructure topics to platform engineers, technical stakeholders, and C-suite executives.
Requirements
- Proven presales, solution architecture, or technical consulting experience translating technical expertise into customer solutions, proposals, presentations, demonstrations, and workshops.
- Hands-on experience designing, operating, and sizing GPU-accelerated infrastructure for AI training, fine-tuning, and inference.
- Working knowledge of NVIDIA AI and accelerated computing technologies, including CUDA, NCCL, GPUDirect, MIG, Run:ai, GPU and Network Operators, and NVIDIA AI Enterprise.
- Expert-level Kubernetes architecture and cluster administration experience, with knowledge of Helm, GitOps, CNI, container runtimes, observability, workload scheduling, and multi-cluster lifecycle operations.
- Strong Linux systems expertise covering networking, storage, containers, security, troubleshooting, and production performance analysis.
- Familiarity with SUSE AI Factory, SUSE Rancher Prime, SUSE Linux Enterprise Server, SUSE Security NeuVector, and SUSE Observability, or the ability to acquire that expertise rapidly.
- Understanding of vLLM, NIM, RAG, vector databases, GPU partitioning, workload scheduling, multi-tenancy, and GPU resource utilization.
- Understanding of high-performance networking and storage, including Ethernet, RoCEv2, RDMA, InfiniBand, distributed storage, and object storage.
- Experience designing secure production architectures involving container security, software supply-chain security, identity and access management, workload isolation, disconnected environments, and enterprise AI governance.
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts, coordinate cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and drive execution in matrixed environments.
