Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead discovery sessions, technical evaluations, architecture workshops, infrastructure sizing, proofs of concept, demonstrations, and technical proposals for enterprise AI environments.
- Architect scalable production solutions for LLM inference, fine-tuning, RAG, agentic AI, multi-agent systems, and Model Context Protocol integrations.
- Partner with account executives, field solution architects, customers, hardware vendors, systems integrators, cloud providers, and other ecosystem partners throughout the sales cycle.
- Develop reusable reference architectures, solution blueprints, demonstrations, and technical enablement materials for field teams.
- Translate GPU architecture, scheduling, multi-tenancy, networking, storage, security, governance, and air-gapped operations into technical and business value.
- Communicate customer feedback and emerging platform requirements to SUSE Product Management and Engineering.
Requirements
- Proven presales, solution architecture, or technical consulting experience delivering customer solutions, proposals, presentations, demonstrations, RFP responses, and hands-on workshops.
- Hands-on experience designing, operating, and sizing GPU-accelerated infrastructure for AI training, fine-tuning, and inference workloads.
- Practical knowledge of GPU memory and compute characteristics, resource partitioning, workload scheduling, utilization, multi-tenancy, vLLM, NIM, RAG, and vector databases.
- Working knowledge of the NVIDIA AI ecosystem, including NVIDIA AI Enterprise, CUDA, GPU and Network Operators, NCCL, GPUDirect, MIG, Run:ai, and high-performance interconnects.
- Expert-level Kubernetes architecture and cluster administration experience, with knowledge of RKE2, K3s, Rancher Prime, Helm, GitOps, CNI, container runtimes, observability, workload scheduling, and multi-cluster lifecycle operations.
- Strong Linux systems expertise covering networking, storage, containers, security, troubleshooting, and production performance analysis.
- Familiarity with or ability to rapidly learn SUSE AI Factory, SUSE Rancher Prime, SUSE Linux Enterprise Server, SUSE Security (NeuVector), and SUSE Observability.
- Understanding of high-bandwidth, low-latency networking and distributed and object storage architectures, including Ethernet, RoCEv2, RDMA, and InfiniBand.
- Experience designing secure production architectures involving container security, software supply-chain security, identity and access management, workload isolation, air-gapped environments, and enterprise AI governance.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and executive audiences, coordinate cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and drive execution in matrixed environments.
