Responsibilities
- Gather functional requirements and develop technical specifications, project plans, and test plans.
- Design and develop high-velocity web applications, prototypes, and proofs of concept.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor junior and new team members.
- Spend approximately 70–85% of the time on hands-on coding.
- Resolve defects and bugs during testing, pre-production, production, and post-release environments.
- Collaborate with product management, QA/QE, product lines, business units, and other Intuit teams.
- Contribute to project design and architecture.
- Manage system and data integration.
- Apply data and data-pipeline knowledge, including data analysis and stream processing or near-real-time data ingestion.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience developing web, software, or mobile applications.
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
- Strong experience with Java, SpringBoot, AWS, Kafka, and Kubernetes.
- Strong experience with stream processing or near-real-time data ingestion.
- Experience across the software development life cycle.
- Strong understanding of software design and architecture.
- Experience with unit testing and Test-Driven Development.
- Knowledge of AI/ML, generative AI, data science, and machine learning.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical issues to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Working knowledge of data, data pipelines, and data analysis.
