Responsibilities
- Evolve and scale New Relic’s global internal Container Fabric platform.
- Operate large-scale Kubernetes infrastructure for high availability and performance.
- Develop internal tooling to streamline platform delivery.
- Manage production environments and respond to high-severity incidents.
- Build infrastructure automation and systems software in Go.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in DevOps, site reliability, or infrastructure engineering is required.
- Deep knowledge of Kubernetes primitives, including Deployments, StatefulSets, and Services, is required.
- Hands-on experience writing custom Kubernetes Operators is required.
- Proficiency in Go for infrastructure automation and systems programming is required.
- Experience managing production environments and handling high-severity incidents is required.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-native scaling tools such as Karpenter or Cluster API and with Day 1/Day 2 Kubernetes cluster operations is required.
- Familiarity with Helm and GitOps tooling such as ArgoCD or Flux is required.
- Candidates must complete employment eligibility verification, and a criminal background check is required.
- Some roles may require an export compliance assessment.
