Responsibilities
- Architect systems involving data-processing components, workflow orchestration, and dependency management.
- Create and manage backend and frontend applications and data stores.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, resilient, operationally stable technical deliverables.
- Program large multi-tier systems using object-oriented design concepts.
- Improve usability, resiliency, scalability, and customer experience across logistics capacity, onboarding, and delivery-partner engagement systems.
- Communicate technical challenges and solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Troubleshoot systems and deliver software supporting approximately 100 million notifications annually.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: 3+ years of full software development life-cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Strong ownership, analytical thinking, troubleshooting skills, and customer focus.
