Responsibilities
- Design and build major control-plane features for storage products.
- Implement, unit test, debug, verify, and maintain production systems and features.
- Improve platform performance, reliability, availability, and serviceability.
- Support interdependent development and testing activities.
- Apply and influence an AI-native software development lifecycle.
- Partner with Product Management and Customer Support to turn customer issues into durable product solutions.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in C++ and additional proficiency in Go, Ruby, Python, or Java.
- Experience with object-oriented design, network programming, HTTP, AWS S3, and file systems.
- Experience with Cassandra, CQL, NoSQL or SQL databases.
- Knowledge of large-scale distributed systems and high-performance computing.
- Experience with Linux and containers.
- Familiarity with AI-native engineering, Agile, test-driven development, and continuous integration.
- At least 3–5 years of experience.
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Computer Science, a master’s degree, or equivalent experience.
