Responsibilities
- Translate product requirements and user workflows into precise system specifications.
- Use AI tools throughout specification, implementation, test generation, code review, and debugging.
- Develop across a primary backend, frontend, or DevOps domain while building working knowledge of the other domains.
- Own architecture-aware engineering across frontend, backend, QA, and DevOps concerns.
- Monitor service reliability signals and feature usage to validate outcomes and guide iteration.
- Critically review AI-generated code with attention to API contracts, data models, and security boundaries.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in computer science or a related field.
- Hands-on experience using AI-native development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Claude Code in a real or side project.
- Ability to write clear BDD/TDD specifications that scope AI-assisted development.
- Ability to provide effective context and inputs when working with AI tools.
- Backend track: experience with Java and AWS cloud services.
- Frontend track: experience with browser JavaScript development, React, HTML, and CSS.
- DevOps track: experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure operations.
- Preferred qualifications include knowledge beyond the primary domain, cloud networking and security, large-scale service operations, networking, Linux, agent frameworks, agent design patterns, and harness engineering techniques.
