Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design and development of complex SAP BTP solutions for research, development, and new product initiatives.
- Implement SAP BTP components that improve approval workflows, R&D governance, compliance, and process efficiency.
- Develop reusable ABAP object-oriented components, web services, and WebDynpro for Java applications.
- Perform core ABAP programming, performance tuning, debugging, code optimization, unit testing, integration testing, and defect resolution.
- Coordinate with product development, R&D partners, functional consultants, and business analysts to translate requirements into SAP designs.
- Review technical specifications and development standards to improve code quality, traceability, and maintainability.
- Mentor developers and project members by sharing technical guidance, best practices, and reusable assets.
- Analyze incidents, resolve root causes, document solutions, and maintain technical configurations.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in SAP ABAP workflow design, configuration, and customization for complex approval chains.
- Advanced experience with ABAP object-oriented programming, including reusable classes and methods.
- Hands-on experience designing and consuming ABAP web services for system and platform integration.
- Practical experience with SAP WebDynpro for Java application development and maintenance.
- Experience with core ABAP, classical reporting, Smart Forms, and Data Dictionary objects.
- Domain experience in research and development, technology, or new product development.
- SAP Certified Development Specialist BTP for SAP NetWeaver or an equivalent SAP BTP development certification is preferred.
