Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable enterprise PEGA applications according to PEGA best practices.
- Configure and optimize PEGA workflows, case management, and business rules.
- Develop and maintain integrations with external systems using REST, SOAP, MQ, and APIs.
- Conduct unit testing and support system integration and user acceptance testing.
- Troubleshoot complex application issues and perform application performance tuning.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and project managers to deliver end-to-end PEGA solutions.
- Maintain application documentation and technical specifications.
- Ensure application performance, scalability, and adherence to security standards.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of PEGA application-development experience, including hands-on expertise with PEGA PRPC and workflow automation.
- Advanced proficiency with PEGA PRPC and the PEGA Platform.
- Strong expertise in workflow automation and business process management.
- Experience with REST and SOAP API integrations, SQL, database concepts, MQ, and Kafka.
- Hands-on experience with PEGA background processing and file-listener configuration.
- Familiarity with Postman for API testing and experience troubleshooting and tuning PEGA applications.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
- CSA or CSSA PEGA certification is desired; REST API integration or BPM certification is a plus.
- Healthcare, banking, or insurance experience, exposure to DevOps tools for PEGA deployment, Java custom-integration knowledge, and Agile/Scrum experience are preferred.
