Base Salary
$160k - $270k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own named customer projects end to end, including discovery, design, build, deployment, and verification.
- Build idempotent, resumable, and auditable migration and integration pipelines on Temporal.
- Model and load customer accounting data into Postgres and reconcile it against existing systems.
- Build internal tooling to turn recurring one-off work into reusable systems.
- Feed customer patterns into the core product and productize or hand off permanent capabilities.
- Shorten the path from customer request to shipped product.
Requirements
- 5+ years shipping production full-stack software end to end and independently.
- Proficiency with Django and DRF, including advanced Postgres usage, query-plan analysis, and live-data migrations.
- Experience with Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
- Experience with durable workflows; Temporal is preferred and Celery is acceptable.
- Direct customer exposure, including scoping problems and shipping solutions with customers.
- Experience with third-party APIs, webhooks, rate limits, and reconciling systems that disagree.
- Accounting, ERP, or fintech domain knowledge is preferred, including double-entry accounting, charts of accounts, close, AP/AR, and revenue recognition.
- Prior forward-deployed, applied, or special-projects experience and judgment about when to ship a script versus build a system are preferred.
