Responsibilities
- Develop web applications as part of a cross-functional team using core web technologies, React, and related frameworks.
- Work independently on development tasks and coach or guide team members within the area of expertise.
- Follow software development lifecycle and delivery procedures on complex or large-scale projects.
- Provide technical support for escalated incidents and outages.
- Develop proofs of concept and connect technical solutions to user and business value.
- Help ensure quality delivery, timely communication, and adherence to team guidelines.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, build tools, and UI libraries.
- 3+ years of experience with React and related libraries or meta-frameworks.
- At least 1 year of experience with Next.js, RESTful APIs, Node.js, and TypeScript.
- Understanding of web performance, Core Web Vitals, and factors affecting user experience.
- Ability to implement accessible interfaces compliant with WCAG 2.1 AA and AODA guidelines.
- A minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
- Preferred experience with Nest.js, BFF or middleware development, advertising/design/consulting agencies, web startups, or financial services.
- Ability to solve complex development problems and define and ensure quality delivery.
