Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the flagship planning application from MVP to a robust production-grade tool used across International Technology.
- Design, build, test, and deploy new applications that improve financial and workforce data exploration and automate manual reporting.
- Develop and support the full stack, including front end, back end, databases, AWS environments, scheduled jobs, and production operations.
- Partner with regional Insight Leads to translate priorities into working features and demonstrate progress regularly.
- Use AI-assisted development tools as part of the software development workflow.
- Perform system analysis, application and database design, coding, testing, reporting, documentation, and production support.
- Integrate third-party products, elevate code through development, test, and production environments, and submit change-control requests.
- Participate in design, code, and test inspections; resolve elevated issues; explain technical considerations; and mentor less-experienced staff.
- Ensure deliverables comply with information technology and information security policies and procedures.
Requirements
- At least five years of related work experience, including at least three years of development experience.
- An undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Experience building full-stack applications with Angular or similar front-end frameworks, Java/Spring Boot or equivalent back-end technologies, REST APIs, and SQL databases.
- Experience building and supporting cloud-native solutions in AWS, including serverless or container-based architectures.
- Ability to work independently and take applications from idea through production.
- Fluency with AI coding tools in a modern development workflow.
- Infrastructure-as-code and automated deployment pipeline experience is a plus.
- Experience with data lakes or data engineering, financial planning, budgeting, workforce or resource planning, and reporting automation is preferred.
