Responsibilities

  • Lead post-technical-win account strategies and execution plans across the majority of Databricks use cases in strategic accounts.
  • Own technical delivery for assigned customers and use cases, including onboarding, enablement, success, go-live, and healthy workload consumption.
  • Serve as the first technical contact for production and go-live questions and issues.
  • Coordinate Shared Services, User Education, Onboarding and Technical Services, Support, technical experts, and Professional Services resources.
  • Create and execute plans to accelerate key use cases into production and coordinate Professional Services engagement proposals.
  • Navigate Databricks Product and Engineering teams for product innovations, private previews, and upgrades.
  • Develop execution plans covering production use cases, user growth, product adoption, cloud cost control, optimization, and executive governance.
  • Build customer and executive relationships, lead stakeholders, orchestrate internal teams, and drive customer growth.
  • Provide internal and external KPI updates on usage, customer health, investment status, risks, product adoption, and use-case progression.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience delivering technical projects or programs in Data and AI, with the ability to contribute to customer technical debates and design decisions.
  • Programming experience in Python or Spark.
  • Experience in a customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, customer success, or consulting role.
  • Understanding of solution architecture for distributed data systems.
  • Understanding of how to connect business value and outcomes to project deliverables.
  • Experience with technical program or project management, including account, stakeholder, and resource management accountability.
  • Experience resolving complex escalations with senior customer executives.
  • Experience conducting discovery workshops, developing strategic roadmaps, performing business analysis, and managing complex programs or projects.
  • Track record of exceeding quota, goals, or comparable objective targets.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% when needed.
