Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain ArcGIS Online dashboards, map services, web layers, and reporting tools for coverage reinvestment activities.
- Process, analyze, import, export, and organize large ArcGIS datasets using scripts, automation, and advanced geoprocessing tools.
- Conduct nationwide suitability modeling, geospatial overlays, multi-criteria assessments, and spatial evaluations to identify candidate locations.
- Integrate crowdsourced, RAN-derived, and third-party GIS data to support prioritization and investment decisions.
- Produce accurate maps, layers, models, attribute tables, dashboards, and documentation packages.
- Develop and validate repeatable, auditable GIS data-processing workflows with quality checks.
- Support geospatial standards, quality controls, version-controlled geodatabase structures, repositories, file catalogs, and ArcGIS Online content.
- Provide hands-on workflow support and recommendations to program leadership, engineering subject-matter experts, and investment teams.
- Contribute to improvements of the First Responder Impact Model and related spatial tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 6 years of Geographic Information Systems development experience.
- Experience establishing and maintaining ArcGIS Online mapping and reporting dashboards.
- Experience importing and exporting large ArcGIS datasets using scripts and data-management practices.
- Experience using ArcGIS Suitability Modeling nationwide to identify locations meeting specified goals.
- Experience using crowdsourced data to generate insights for investment activities.
- Relevant experience with a multi-state or national public safety communications program or project.
- Experience conducting spatial analysis involving network coverage, infrastructure, or telecommunications datasets.
- Strong data analysis, visualization, problem-solving, and large-dataset handling skills within ArcGIS.
- Experience preparing geospatial data for enterprise analytics or decision-support platforms.
- Familiarity with telecommunications, broadband, wireless, or network infrastructure data.
- Familiarity with integrating GIS data into Palantir or similar enterprise analytics environments.
- Ability to collaborate across technical and cross-functional teams and manage multiple analytical tasks.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass public trust clearance or suitability requirements.
- Preferred qualifications include government or public-sector program experience, automated GIS reporting development, and technical briefing or planning support experience.
