Base Salary

$144k - $223k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and support scalable, secure, high-performing full-stack software solutions.
  • Influence architecture, engineering standards, technical direction, and platform strategy.
  • Lead complex initiatives from concept through implementation while balancing speed, quality, and maintainability.
  • Mentor engineers through technical guidance, code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge sharing.
  • Translate business objectives and requirements into thoughtful technical solutions with cross-functional teams.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and delivery opportunities early.
  • Improve software quality, reliability, observability, and operational excellence.
  • Contribute to cloud-native development, containerization, orchestration, infrastructure as code, integrations, and system scalability.
  • Design and work with modern data layers and object-relational mapping tools.
  • Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex production issues.
  • Champion testing strategies, automation, data-driven decision making, and engineering excellence.
  • Explore AI/ML capabilities and real-time collaboration technologies to improve platform capabilities and developer productivity.

Requirements

  • Senior-level software engineering experience capable of leading complex technical initiatives and influencing architecture.
  • Experience with full-stack development using React, Next.js, Node.js, and Python backend technologies such as FastAPI or Flask.
  • Experience with Docker, ECS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CloudFormation for cloud-native development and infrastructure automation.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL and ORMs such as Drizzle, Prisma, or SQLAlchemy.
  • Ability to mentor engineers, lead technical discussions, partner with business stakeholders, and communicate project status and risks.
  • Experience with software testing, automation, production troubleshooting, reliability, observability, and scalable systems.
  • Ability to work with application integrations, AI/ML services, and emerging technologies such as WebSockets and Y.js.
