Responsibilities

Build and maintain production software across backend services and user-facing applications.
Develop APIs, data models, services, and user-facing features for merchant products.
Work on merchant onboarding, analytics, recommendations, menu and order management, integrations, and merchant-facing tools.
Own features from implementation through production deployment and ongoing maintenance.
Contribute to technical design discussions and improve system quality, scalability, observability, and maintainability.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, operations, data specialists, and engineers to deliver practical solutions.
Use AI-assisted development tools critically and take ownership of the final solution.
Contribute outside the primary area of expertise when needed to solve problems end-to-end.

Proven experience building production software end-to-end and at scale in backend, frontend, or fullstack environments.
Strong expertise in at least one area of the stack and willingness to contribute across frontend and backend boundaries.
Experience with a modern backend language such as Go, Kotlin, Java, or similar, and/or frontend technologies such as TypeScript and React.
Good understanding of APIs, databases, testing, and software design fundamentals.
Ability to work independently on well-scoped problems and collaborate effectively.
Good communication skills and a pragmatic, collaborative mindset.
Preferred experience includes merchant-facing or internal operational tools, analytics, recommendations, decisioning systems, grocery, retail, restaurants, logistics, marketplace technology, external business integrations, streaming technologies, AWS, Kubernetes, or Docker.

Hybrid work based in the Helsinki or Berlin tech hubs.
