Base Salary
$85k - $184k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain automation for deployment, validation, and operational workflows across multiple cloud environments.
- Develop CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and service onboarding capabilities to improve deployment consistency and engineering productivity.
- Build telemetry, monitoring, and operational tooling to improve system health, troubleshooting, and engineering insights.
- Partner with service teams, platform teams, and feature owners to deliver cloud-ready solutions and support feature rollouts.
- Investigate reliability, deployment, and operational issues and identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Proven coding experience in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python; preferred experience also includes Rust.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
- Preferred experience with CI/CD systems and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Azure DevOps, Bicep, Terraform, or ARM.
- Preferred experience building or operating cloud-based services on Azure and working with distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, or large-scale service operations.
- Preferred knowledge of software engineering fundamentals, observability, telemetry, monitoring, deployment automation, release management, secure development, and service reliability practices.
- Preferred experience supporting regulated, sovereign, government, or compliance-sensitive environments and collaborating across engineering teams.
