Base Salary
$102k - $219k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain automated pipelines to reduce manual steps and improve deployment speed.
- Optimize cost and efficiency using telemetry, dashboards, and targeted improvements.
- Refactor components and apply engineering best practices to improve architecture and reliability.
- Collaborate across engineering teams to align dependencies and co-deliver features.
- Integrate Purview capabilities across clouds and support compliance and audit readiness.
- Investigate complex technical issues and contribute to technical design discussions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field and 2+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
- Coding experience in one or more of C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with SCI access based on an SSBI with Polygraph.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements before and after employment.
- U.S. citizenship verification is required for applicable government customer restrictions.
- Preferred experience with Azure DevOps, Bicep or Terraform, infrastructure as code, and telemetry for safe rollouts.
- Preferred knowledge of secure coding, automated testing, maintainable design, and delivering compliance artifacts for specialized clouds.
Benefits
- The typical U.S. base pay range is $102,100–$202,200 per year, with a separate San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area range.
- Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
