Base Salary
$102k - $261k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, dependencies, design documents, estimates, and work items.
- Design, implement, optimize, debug, refactor, and reuse code for distributed products, applications, services, and platforms.
- Build and scale CI/CD infrastructure across virtual machines, containers, and custom lab environments.
- Serve as a Designated Responsible Individual by creating operational playbooks, participating in on-call rotations, monitoring service health, and leading incident restoration.
- Improve availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, performance, monitoring, and operational excellence.
- Partner with stakeholders on project plans, release plans, and work items, and mentor engineers during incident response.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field and at least 2 years of technical engineering experience coding in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field and at least 4 years of technical engineering experience, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: proficiency in C#, experience designing and building distributed services at scale, and strong proficiency with Azure or other cloud services.
