Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build a unified developer experience platform covering the path from code commit to satellite operations.
- Develop self-service automation, tools, and release processes for Leo software and production services.
- Improve release quality, reliability, stability, operational excellence, and end-to-end traceability.
- Enable engineers to ship high-quality software to space and ground rapidly, securely, and at scale.
- Collaborate with application teams, partner teams, senior engineers, principal engineers, and senior principal engineers to identify issues and drive solutions.
- Use data, analytical methods, and verifiable evidence to support process and tooling decisions.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 3 years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 3 years designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services.
- Experience using one or more of C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- Preferred: at least 5 years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, lawfully admitted refugee, or person granted asylum due to export-control requirements.
