Base Salary
$102k - $219k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build developer-facing services and tools for local development environments, build systems, and engineering tooling.
- Develop pull request validation and test infrastructure that improves pipeline speed, test reliability, and coverage.
- Build end-to-end validation environments and automation to provision them.
- Implement deployment services with progressive rollout, health gating, and automated rollback capabilities.
- Build data and reporting systems that measure delivery performance using DORA signals.
- Write extensible, well-tested C# code and participate in code reviews with attention to coding patterns, security, and compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field and 2+ years of technical engineering experience coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check security screening upon hire or transfer and every two years thereafter.
- Preferred: master’s degree and 3+ years of technical engineering experience, or bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of technical engineering experience, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred experience developing engineering systems as software products, including build and CI/CD systems, test infrastructure, release orchestration, or developer productivity tooling.
- Preferred experience designing and building services and APIs used by engineering teams.
- Preferred experience designing highly scalable, multi-tenant backend or middle-tier services.
- Preferred hands-on experience with distributed systems technologies including Azure Service Fabric, containers/Kubernetes, Service Bus, Event Hub, Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, or Redis.
Benefits
- The typical U.S. base pay range is USD $102,100–$202,200 per year, with a separate range for specified San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area locations.
- Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
