Base Salary

$102k - $219k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and support scalable software services and AI-powered applications.
  • Build copilots, intelligent agents, and workflow automation using large language models and agentic AI frameworks.
  • Develop reusable APIs, services, libraries, and platform components for enterprise AI scenarios.
  • Implement RAG, semantic search, embeddings, tool calling, memory, and multi-agent workflows.
  • Integrate AI capabilities with enterprise systems, operational processes, and structured and unstructured data sources.
  • Create automated evaluations for accuracy, groundedness, relevance, safety, latency, reliability, and cost.
  • Write clean, maintainable, secure, accessible, and well-tested production code.
  • Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, incident response, troubleshooting, and operational improvements.
  • Apply security, privacy, compliance, accessibility, and responsible-AI requirements throughout the engineering lifecycle.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools while maintaining accountability for code quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 2+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in one or more of C#, Python, Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript is preferred.
  • Experience with cloud-based applications, APIs, distributed services, enterprise platforms, generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, embeddings, RAG, or intelligent agents is preferred.
  • Experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, or similar technologies is preferred.
  • Experience delivering production-grade copilots, AI agents, RAG systems, or intelligent automation is preferred.
  • Knowledge of model and agent evaluation, responsible AI, prompt-injection protection, content safety, and AI red teaming is preferred.
  • Experience with Azure AI Search, AKS, App Service, Functions, Cosmos DB, Microsoft Fabric, or Azure Monitor is preferred.
  • Familiarity with containers, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, managed-identity security patterns, microservices, event-driven architectures, distributed systems, caching, and performance optimization is preferred.
  • Familiarity with MLOps, LLMOps, experimentation, telemetry, and AI lifecycle management is preferred.
  • Experience with supply-chain, ERP, SAP, or other large-scale enterprise systems is preferred.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft Cloud background-check and applicable customer or government security-screening requirements is required.

Benefits

  • The typical U.S. base pay range is USD $102,100–$202,200 per year; specific ranges apply in the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area.
  • Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
  • The position is open for a minimum of five days, with applications accepted on an ongoing basis until filled.
