Base Salary
$280k - $320k/yr
Responsibilities
- Work as a deep technical partner to flagship life sciences research institutions.
- Build hands-on with partner engineering teams through pair programming and prototyping.
- Help research teams integrate Claude into their analysis pipelines.
- Develop ecosystem infrastructure to connect Claude with domain-specific data sources.
- Design and evaluate agentic scientific workflows for experimental design and analysis.
- Identify challenges in deploying AI in life sciences and provide feedback to improve the platform.
- Create technical content and documentation for life sciences partners.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or similar role with production experience.
- Deep experience in building LLM-powered applications and deploying at scale.
- Meaningful exposure to life sciences or scientific computing.
- Ability to work across the scientific stack and critically evaluate methods.
- Builder credibility to earn trust with research engineers and scientists.
- A scrappy founder mentality, comfortable with ambiguity and building from scratch.
