Responsibilities
- Automate build, test, and deployment processes.
- Use Infrastructure-as-Code tools to automate infrastructure management.
- Monitor and continuously optimize customers’ on-premise and cloud infrastructure.
- Implement and maintain alerting, monitoring, and tracing.
- Support the reliable operation of developed applications in collaboration with developers and testers.
- Represent the operations perspective to development teams, Product Owners, and other project stakeholders.
- Deliver hands-on consulting expertise directly in customer projects.
Requirements
- At least three years of experience in DevOps and prior experience in software development.
- Completed IT degree or equivalent qualification with corresponding professional experience.
- Experience with Java, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, GitLab, Linux, Docker, and SRE.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipeline implementation and Java and web application development and deployment.
- Familiarity with microservice architectures and API design, including REST and messaging.
- Basic understanding of routing, load balancing, and DNS.
- Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and openness toward colleagues and customers.
- Fluent German and good English.
