Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot production Google Kubernetes Engine and Anthos deployments to resolve customer issues and achieve readiness, availability, and scale.
- Reproduce customer-reported issues, determine root causes, build diagnostic tools, and accelerate troubleshooting.
- Consult with engineering, sales, and customer teams to resolve technical deployment obstacles.
- Provide global 24-hour customer support, including occasional non-standard hours, shifts, and weekends.
- Advocate for customer needs and identify improvements to products, tools, processes, and documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
- Five years of experience troubleshooting, advocating for customer needs, and triaging hardware, software, application, operational, or process issues.
- Five years of technical consulting experience supporting large enterprise customers with high service-level agreement requirements.
- Five years of experience with web technologies, systems administration, developer operations, networking, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with cloud computing and debugging workload issues across large-scale, multi-node environments.
- Experience with exploratory kernel debugging and performance analysis of containerized systems.
- Experience working with public cloud services and infrastructure, particularly GCP.
- Experience with computer networking, including TCP/IP, routing, and load balancing, and basic web technologies such as HTTP, HTML, and DNS.
Benefits
- Ireland compensation is €84000–€86000 EUR plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
- Poland compensation is zł252000–zł258000 PLN plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
- Global 24x7 support work may require non-standard hours, shifts, and weekends.
