Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical point of contact for enterprise accounts and account managers.
- Understand customer goals and articulate how Elastic offerings address their needs.
- Own value-based relationships across customer organizations.
- Participate in territory planning and execution from discovery through the technical win.
- Demonstrate Elastic products and solutions in sales meetings and community events.
- Advise sales teams on positioning Elastic products, solutions, and services.
- Onboard, educate, and enable partners during sales cycles.
- Create collateral and contribute to programs supporting client needs.
- Communicate customer and community needs, gaps, and improvements to engineering and leadership.
- Develop technical and sales skills through continuous self-directed learning.
- Travel approximately 30% within the region and occasionally internationally.
Requirements
- Track record of success in technical presales, including selling and implementing technology.
- Proven ability to articulate and sell the benefits of modern platforms, software, and technologies.
- Extensive experience with SIEM platforms and vendor solutions in enterprise environments.
- Deep understanding of AI and its impact on SIEM and analytics solutions.
- Strong understanding of SOC workflows, processes, and operational challenges.
- Knowledge of security solutions, the data they produce, and content development for use-case requirements.
- Successful customer relationship and solution architecture experience.
- Ability to influence technical decisions and architectural direction.
- Ability to inspire both large and small groups.
- Passion for curiosity, continuous learning, and professional development.
