Responsibilities
- Design and define scalable, modular, interoperable end-to-end system architectures for digital platforms.
- Define technical vision, architecture standards, protocols, frameworks, and integration approaches.
- Lead integration with external systems, Digital Public Infrastructure components, and third-party platforms.
- Ensure scalability, security, high availability, reliability, performance, data protection, and multi-region deployment readiness.
- Establish best practices for cloud infrastructure, data architecture, storage, monitoring, and resilience.
- Provide technical leadership across development, DevOps, and implementation teams, including design and architecture reviews.
- Mentor engineering teams, drive technical decisions, resolve complex system challenges, and ensure adoption of standards.
- Oversee development from design through deployment and scaling, aligning business requirements, architecture, and implementation.
- Collaborate with program, product, and operations teams to support timely, high-quality delivery.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and enable adoption of AI, data platforms, and digital innovation capabilities where relevant.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in system design, software engineering, system architecture, or technology leadership roles.
- At least 5 years designing scalable digital platforms aligned with Government of India digital, MeitY, and cybersecurity standards using cloud-native deployment models.
- Strong expertise in system architecture design, distributed systems, scalable platform development, cloud-native architectures, and microservices.
- Proficiency in API design and integration, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, and SQL or NoSQL databases.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks, security best practices, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
- B.E., B.Tech, or M.Tech in Computer Science or Information Technology.
- Preferred certifications include TOGAF, Zachman, Certified Technical Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or equivalent certifications.
- Preferred experience includes large-scale digital or public infrastructure platforms, high-volume multi-stakeholder systems, DPI, open networks, platform ecosystems, government technology programs, and integration-heavy API ecosystems.
- Preferred exposure includes TensorFlow, OpenAI APIs, Azure AI, data platforms and analytics, blockchain, digital identity, AI/ML integration, and data-driven platforms.
