Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain applications for the IFS core banking system.
- Implement changes in web and back-end applications and provide functional and technical support.
- Participate in design and technical decisions for new and existing components.
- Write code, unit tests, and integration tests.
- Support acceptance testing and production incident resolution.
- Follow coding and security standards.
- Contribute to Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery automation.
- Collaborate with the ING team in Belgium on banking services and features.
Requirements
- Solid software development experience with the .NET Framework using C# in desktop and server applications.
- Good understanding of the software development lifecycle and DevOps principles.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL, T-SQL, and MS SQL BI, including SSRS and SSIS.
- Scripting knowledge such as PowerShell, DSC, or another scripting language.
- Experience with static scan tools such as Fortify or Checkmarx.
- Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of Git branching strategies.
- A test-driven development mindset.
- Knowledge of optimization techniques and strategies.
- Curiosity about the banking business domain.
