Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead standards and guidelines for deployments to Azure Cloud and Kubernetes environments.
- Stand up, operate, maintain, and enhance Kubernetes clusters in laboratory and classified production environments.
- Deploy and manage Jira, Confluence, GitLab, and other DevSecOps tools on Azure virtual machines and Kubernetes clusters.
- Direct and support infrastructure-as-code automation using Packer, Ansible, and shell scripts.
- Architect, build, test, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for software and infrastructure as code.
- Deploy and manage Linux-based Kubernetes environments, including persistent volumes and cloud storage interfaces.
- Use Helm to deploy, integrate, and manage Harbor, SonarQube, Keycloak, Nexus, ArgoCD, and other Software Factory tools.
- Onboard application teams and assist with automated integration of application and infrastructure components.
- Provide DevSecOps architecture, engineering, coaching, customer support, and technical leadership.
- Perform monitoring, patching, upgrades, vulnerability response, and remediation for Kubernetes nodes and platform applications.
- Define application and system security requirements and educate teams on DevSecOps practices and tooling.
Requirements
- US citizenship is required.
- An active DoD Secret clearance and the ability to obtain Top Secret clearance are required.
- A BA/BS degree or equivalent experience is required.
- At least 10 years of DevOps or cloud experience is required.
- Experience managing Linux and Linux-based operating systems is required.
- Experience with software architecture, engineering, CI/CD, and DevOps practices is required.
- Foundational knowledge of at least one programming or scripting language is required.
- Experience with Git, containerization, Kubernetes deployments, Kubernetes persistent volumes/volume claims, and cloud storage interface plugins is required.
- Experience providing technical leadership for DevOps or cloud teams is required.
- Strong verbal and written communication, coaching, problem-solving, organization, and customer collaboration skills are required.
- Experience with Agile lifecycle management processes and tools is required.
- DoDM 8140 certification or Security+ is required.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, GitOps, GitLab CI/CD, Platform One Big Bang, security scanning tools, secure development, and software supply chain security is preferred.
