Responsibilities
- Analyze user needs and test software solutions.
- Create release test models, including test plans, test data, and test scripts.
- Lead or coordinate release testing and define user acceptance criteria.
- Develop and maintain quality testing standards, procedures, and methodologies.
- Plan, create, and control test environments.
- Identify, triage, troubleshoot, and manage defects through closure.
- Validate end-to-end claims lifecycles, including eligibility, provider validation, adjudication, pricing, prior authorization, and benefit rules.
- Update and test release installation procedures and participate in peer reviews and lessons learned.
- Collaborate with business SMEs, product owners, engineering teams, customers, and software vendors.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience as a Senior QA professional or QA lead.
- Strong U.S. healthcare, claims processing, and EDI domain expertise.
- Experience writing SQL statements for data validation.
- Ability to design, develop, test, and debug test cases, scripts, plans, and strategy documents.
- Hands-on experience validating complex claims lifecycle and adjudication scenarios.
- Experience documenting and interpreting business and technical requirements across development methodologies.
- Strong web services testing experience using Postman or SoapUI.
- Working knowledge of automated testing tools, testing practices, and performance testing tools.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work with diverse clients and team members.
