Base Salary
$153k - $214k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead technical design and implementation for complex external integrations spanning SDKs, service accounts, browser surfaces, new platform systems, and AI-native platforms.
- Partner with Strategic Partnerships to validate feasibility, assess partner architectures, and shape practical integration approaches.
- Build and extend platform components required to support active integrations.
- Identify common integration patterns and abstract them into reusable infrastructure.
- Contribute to the external integrations program by tracking lifecycle progress from initial discussion through general availability.
- Produce design documents, sequence diagrams, integration guides, and other technical artifacts for internal and partner execution.
- Improve self-service documentation and tooling to make integrations increasingly plug-and-play.
- Support partner migrations to new platform capabilities with auditing and policy controls.
- Use focused proofs of concept to de-risk integration patterns involving external AI platforms and model providers and inform platform investments.
Requirements
- Strong backend or full-stack engineering experience building APIs, SDKs, platform capabilities, and integrations with AI-native technologies such as LLM APIs, agent frameworks, embeddings, or retrieval systems.
- Track record of delivering complex integrations across organizational boundaries and engaging directly with external technical stakeholders.
- Experience designing secure systems involving authentication, authorization, and policy-driven access models.
- Ability to reason about partner architectures and translate them into pragmatic integration designs.
- Strong technical writing and documentation skills, ownership, judgment, and ability to work effectively in ambiguity.
- Experience building or maintaining developer platforms or SDK ecosystems.
- Familiarity with browser integrations or extension architectures.
- Experience migrating systems to new platform primitives or security models.
- Hands-on experience integrating with external AI companies or AI-native technologies, including LLM APIs, agent frameworks, embeddings, or retrieval systems.
