Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy Java 17 microservices with Spring Boot, Spring WebFlux, Reactor, and Micronaut.
- Build reactive, event-driven solutions using Kafka, Azure Event Hubs, Azure Service Bus, and Azure Event Grid.
- Design workflows and serverless applications with Azure Functions and Azure Logic Apps.
- Develop and securely integrate APIs using Azure API Management.
- Deploy and manage services on Azure App Service, Azure Spring Apps, and Azure Kubernetes Service.
- Integrate Azure data services including Azure Database for PostgreSQL and Cosmos DB.
- Implement caching and performance optimization with Azure Redis Cache.
- Apply CI/CD practices for automated builds and deployments on Azure.
- Ensure application reliability, scalability, and observability using Azure monitoring services.
- Collaborate with architects and senior engineers to implement cloud-native designs and patterns.
Requirements
- At least 12 years of professional experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or 15 years of full-time education.
- Strong proficiency in Java 17, Spring Boot, and Micronaut.
- Hands-on expertise in reactive programming with Spring WebFlux and Project Reactor.
- Experience developing microservices-based applications and event-driven, real-time systems.
- Practical experience with Kafka and Azure messaging services.
- Strong experience with Azure App Service, Azure Spring Apps, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure API Management, Azure Database for PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB, and Azure Redis Cache.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with cloud-native security best practices and API design standards.
- Microsoft Azure certifications such as Azure Developer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Associate are preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, communication, teamwork, and ability to learn new Azure services and frameworks.
