Base Salary
$230k - $260k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead major initiatives and own a large area of Shepherd's product experience.
- Work across the stack and different disciplines including underwriting and design.
- Mentor other engineers and contribute to building company culture.
- Balance innovation with pragmatic delivery of quality products.
- Contribute to product strategy and architectural decisions.
- Collaborate closely with product management and the insurance team.
Requirements
- 8+ years of working experience, preferably as a full-stack engineer.
- Strong experience with Javascript/Typescript for backend and/or frontend.
- Experience in an InsurTech role or actuarial role is preferred.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to various stakeholders.
- Passion for improving construction safety and productivity.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and excited about shipping products frequently.
