Responsibilities
- Design, build, integrate, and operate scalable automation products and AI-driven chatbots for internal IT and laboratory users.
- Manage and enhance Azure development and test subscriptions, cloud environments, and Azure-based automation and AI solutions.
- Translate Azure infrastructure into reusable Terraform code and manage Terraform Cloud organizations, projects, workspaces, modules, and execution environments.
- Automate infrastructure and service configuration with Ansible, PowerShell, and Bash, including maintenance and decomposition of configuration pipelines.
- Maintain and evolve the in-house self-service automation platform using C#, .NET, MudBlazor, PowerShell, Bash, and Ansible.
- Operate platform components including Cosmos DB, App Services, Azure DevOps pipelines, DNS records, technical accounts, application secrets, TLS certificates, and Application Gateway configurations.
- Apply secure coding and DevSecOps practices, including static and dynamic code analysis, SonarQube integrations, automated testing, and identity and access controls.
- Act as coproduct owner for the automation platform by defining its vision, roadmap, backlog, and feature priorities.
- Provide technical direction, architecture support, mentoring, training, and enablement for operational and technical teams.
Requirements
- Strong practical knowledge of Azure IaaS and PaaS services, including Virtual Machines, Networking, Storage, AKS, App Services, Cosmos DB, API Management, and AI-related services.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 automation and integration, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Intune.
- Strong understanding of Azure Active Directory, RBAC, conditional access, MFA, hybrid identity, Microsoft Active Directory, LDAP, and Kerberos.
- Experience with Terraform, Terraform Cloud, Ansible, ARM, and CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
- Ability to design and write Terraform code for Azure and on-premises services, including state management, governance, security, and reusable modules.
- Experience implementing Ansible automation in Azure DevOps pipelines and managing Linux and Windows environments with Ansible, PowerShell, and Bash.
- Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and configuration automation.
- Ability to write secure, maintainable C# and .NET code with MudBlazor and integrate frontend applications with backend services, APIs, and automation pipelines.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft AI Foundry, and AI-driven automation such as chatbots.
- Experience managing application secrets, certificates, DNS records, and platform configurations.
- Demonstrated ability to operate as a technical product owner and balance roadmap priorities, stakeholder needs, user experience, and technical quality.
- Strong collaboration, mentoring, documentation, training, business-requirement translation, and continuous-improvement skills.
