Base Salary
$139k - $209k/yr
Responsibilities
- Articulate F5 product strategy, messaging, positioning, value propositions, and solutions aligned with customer business objectives.
- Provide technical expertise through sales presentations, solution designs, demonstrations, and proofs of concept.
- Mentor and educate sales teams on the value of F5 solutions and customer business drivers.
- Assess opportunity viability and map customer organizational structures.
- Drive the sales process with Account Managers by identifying technical decision-makers and securing technical validation, support, and sponsorship.
- Provide customer service throughout the customer lifecycle and collaborate with internal technical and sales resources.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as computer science, electrical engineering, or management information systems, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience and experience as a Sales Engineer.
- Experience with traffic management and load-balancing technologies such as F5, Citrix, Riverbed, or Kemp.
- Knowledge of HTTP, web servers, web applications, networking technologies, Internet security products and services, and associated protocols.
- Skills with Linux/UNIX-based systems and experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Experience or knowledge of microservices architectures, Kubernetes, Docker, APIs, and DevOps environments.
- Experience working with enterprise customers in the financial services industry.
- Technical knowledge of intelligent load balancing, application acceleration, application request routing, web serving, dynamic content caching, SSL and compression offload.
