Base Salary
$168k - $227k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement infrastructure software connecting robotic systems with the Amazon Fulfillment Cloud and cloud-based services.
- Build and deploy scalable software systems supporting reliable robotic operations across multiple fulfillment center locations.
- Develop monitoring, fault detection, simulation, metrics, anomaly detection, and automated alerting systems for robotic fleet reliability.
- Partner with roboticists, hardware engineers, data scientists, and operations stakeholders to deliver production-ready robotic systems.
- Perform testing, code reviews, troubleshooting, and architectural planning across the software lifecycle.
- Support lab prototyping, facility deployments, new site launches, fleet expansion, and real-time system issue resolution.
- Mentor colleagues and contribute technical expertise and architectural decisions.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- At least 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 5 years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including reliability and scaling.
- Experience mentoring, serving as a tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred: at least 5 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
