Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Align project-specific designs with the application architecture roadmap.
- Support project and product teams with functional and technical design activities.
- Define interactions among application packages, databases, and middleware systems to optimize product functionality.
- Act as a subject matter expert for products requiring application integration.
- Administer and monitor Hadoop clusters, including storage, resource management, scheduling, and ecosystem tools.
- Use automation, security, programming, and troubleshooting skills to support distributed Hadoop environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree and 5 years of Information Technology experience, or technical certification and/or college courses and 7 years of experience, or 9 years of Information Technology experience.
- Experience with application or product feature design, application configuration, development platforms or languages, cloud computing, DevOps or continuous integration and deployment, integration technologies, solution architecture, prototyping, and application-domain knowledge.
- Preferred Linux/Unix proficiency, including command-line operations, file systems, process management, and Bash or Perl scripting.
- Preferred practical knowledge of Hadoop, HDFS, YARN, MapReduce, Apache Ambari, Nagios, Ganglia, Cloudera Manager, Hive, HBase, Spark, Sqoop, Zoo Keeper, and Oozie.
- Preferred knowledge of CPU, memory, storage, networking, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Kerberos, and Java, Python, or Scala.
