Base Salary
$100k - $110k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop code using Java, Spring, and NoSQL technologies.
- Solve technical problems using current technologies and best practices.
- Evaluate alternative solutions and explain the rationale for the preferred approach.
- Ensure technical designs are correctly incorporated into implementations.
- Provide technical expertise across projects as required.
- Conduct research and implement proofs of concept as required.
Requirements
- 8+ years of Java/J2EE development experience.
- Experience with Java microservices, Java, Spring Boot, and preferably Kafka or other messaging technologies.
- Experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry or Azure.
- Proficiency with Spring, Spring Batch, SOA, and REST services.
- Experience with NoSQL databases including Cassandra, Maria, Mongo, or Cosmos.
- Experience with Git, SVN, or another distributed version control system.
- Deep understanding of Java, design concepts, patterns, and coding standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Applications, or a related field.
- Ability to identify problems, provide creative solutions, communicate effectively, and collaborate as a team player.
