Base Salary
$114k - $155k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, stable, and scalable software components.
- Build APIs and services with Spring Boot and modern user interfaces with React and TypeScript.
- Consider upstream and downstream systems and technical implications when developing solutions.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI coding assistants for code generation, refactoring, unit test creation, documentation, and automation while validating outputs.
- Apply agentic AI workflows, AI assistants, agent frameworks, and MCP servers or similar tool integrations to automate development tasks.
- Analyze large and diverse data sets to identify problems and support secure, stable application development.
- Participate across the software development lifecycle, including design, development, code review, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Support operational stability through monitoring, incident response, and root cause analysis.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
- Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot for building APIs and services.
- Proficiency in React and TypeScript for building modern user interfaces.
- Working knowledge of SQL, relational database concepts, and query optimization.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing practices, operational stability, and large-scale enterprise environments.
- Experience with debugging, maintaining code, database querying languages, secure software development, resiliency, and CI/CD practices.
- Hands-on experience using AI-assisted developer tools and applying them responsibly in engineering workflows.
- Exposure to agentic AI workflows, related patterns and tools, and tool integrations such as MCP servers.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Preferred: full-stack front-end and back-end development experience, API design, and UI integration.
- Preferred: exposure to cloud platforms, containerization, managed services, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Preferred: experience with GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, prompt and pattern development, and lightweight AI tooling governance.
