Responsibilities
- Configure, operate, and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS and Microsoft Azure.
- Provision and manage compute, storage, virtual networking, DNS, identity, and cloud service configurations.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code definitions and scripts for repeatable provisioning and deployments.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, deployment testing, release validation, rollback procedures, and version-controlled changes.
- Configure access permissions, service identities, secrets management, and platform security controls.
- Maintain monitoring, logging, dashboards, alerts, configuration baselines, backups, recovery procedures, and failover capabilities.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, network, identity, application integration, and platform incidents; document root causes and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, and mission teams and maintain architecture diagrams, configuration records, deployment guides, and operational procedures.
Requirements
- Active Secret security clearance is required.
- Hands-on experience configuring, operating, or supporting both Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure environments, including compute, storage, networking, and identity services.
- Working knowledge of Linux or Windows administration, including system configuration, services, logs, patching, and basic security practices.
- Experience with Python, PowerShell, Bash, or a comparable scripting language for operational automation.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code and reviewing, updating, and troubleshooting reusable infrastructure definitions.
- Experience with source control and automated deployment workflows, including testing, release validation, and rollback.
- Working knowledge of IP networking, DNS, routing, network access controls, and cloud service connectivity.
- Ability to analyze logs and monitoring data, troubleshoot infrastructure and access issues, improve platform reliability and performance, collaborate with distributed teams, and maintain technical documentation.
- Preferred experience with Terraform or comparable infrastructure automation tools.
- Preferred familiarity with containers, Kubernetes, or managed container services.
- Preferred experience supporting federal mission environments or implementing DevSecOps practices in security- and compliance-focused systems.
- Preferred experience with backup and recovery testing, capacity planning, or cloud resource and cost optimization.
