Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain production-grade frontend and full-stack features for the Page Builder platform.
- Develop modular, reusable, accessible UI components and support blade component libraries, CMS integrations, and rendering pipelines.
- Own features from design through production, including design specifications, test strategies, implementation, performance, quality, and observability.
- Integrate AI tools such as Agentforce, Slackbot, Cursor, Claude, and Codex into engineering workflows.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, Principal Engineers, Architects, and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Mentor AMTS and MTS engineers through pair programming, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
- Monitor production features, contribute to code reviews, and promote engineering best practices.
- Support sprint planning by slicing stories and epics, defining tasks, and identifying dependencies and risks.
- Present designs and contribute to retrospectives, playbooks, and documentation.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience focused on frontend and full-stack web development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript with experience in React or comparable frameworks such as Vue, Angular, or Ember.
- Solid HTML5, CSS3, and CSS framework experience, including Sass or Tailwind.
- Experience with Node.js and backend services supporting frontend experiences.
- Experience with content management systems, particularly WordPress or Contentful, and CMS-driven rendering pipelines.
- Experience building scalable, performant web applications on public cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS; GCP and Azure are also considered.
- Experience consuming RESTful or GraphQL APIs and understanding API design and security best practices.
- Understanding of web performance, including Core Web Vitals, lazy loading, caching, and CDN behavior.
- Experience with frontend testing frameworks or methodologies such as Jest, Cucumber, or Selenium.
- Ability to independently lead and deliver medium- to high-complexity features from design through production.
- Experience mentoring engineers and providing technical coaching and code review feedback.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, documentation ability, and design presentation experience.
- A related technical degree is required.
- Preferred qualifications include AI-first engineering practices, internationalization and localization, design systems, WordPress theme or Page/REST API development, Webpack, Vite, npm, Yarn, CDN configuration, analytics instrumentation, tag management, Agile methods, WCAG accessibility, and a master's degree in Computer Science or Technology or equivalent experience.

- The stated base salary is $148,500-$223,900 annually, or $178,900-$246,000 annually in select San Francisco and New York City metropolitan areas; bonus, equity, and benefits are excluded from these ranges.
