Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and delivery for important customer-facing digital product initiatives through hands-on coding.
- Design and develop full-stack solutions across frontend, backend, cloud infrastructure, and deployment pipelines.
- Build the engineering platform, including CI/CD, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, and observability capabilities.
- Convert successful implementation patterns into shared services, frameworks, libraries, and architectural standards.
- Improve engineering velocity through automation, standardization, and platform design.
- Mentor engineers and partner with product leads and designers to raise technical standards and delivery quality.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience with strong backgrounds in product engineering and platform/SRE work.
- Expert-level React and TypeScript frontend experience.
- Deep experience building distributed backends in Go, Python, or TypeScript.
- Architectural, hands-on experience with a major cloud provider such as GCP or AWS and Terraform.
- Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines built with GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
- Ability to design scalable, resilient, and observable systems.
- Experience working closely with Product and Design teams to deliver valuable user solutions.
- Practical understanding of monitoring, tracing, testing, and operational excellence, including Prometheus, Grafana, and Jaeger.
