Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and hands-on delivery for important customer-facing digital product initiatives.
- Design and develop full-stack solutions spanning frontend experiences, backend services, cloud infrastructure, and deployment pipelines.
- Build and evolve the engineering platform, including CI/CD, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, and observability capabilities.
- Convert successful implementation patterns into reusable services, frameworks, libraries, and architectural standards.
- Improve engineering velocity and autonomy through automation, standardization, and platform design.
- Mentor engineers and collaborate with product leads and designers to raise technical standards and delivery quality.
Requirements
- Expert-level experience with React and TypeScript for frontend development.
- Deep experience building distributed backend systems in Go, Python, or TypeScript.
- Hands-on architectural experience with a major cloud platform such as GCP or AWS and Terraform.
- Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD pipelines built from scratch, including GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
- Ability to design scalable, resilient, and observable systems.
- Experience partnering with Product and Design teams to deliver valuable user-facing solutions.
- Practical understanding of monitoring, tracing, testing, and operational excellence, including Prometheus, Grafana, and Jaeger.
- 10+ years of experience with strong backgrounds in both product engineering and platform/SRE work.
- Builder-oriented technical leadership experience in greenfield or ambiguous environments.
