Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and delivery for major customer-facing digital products through hands-on production coding.
- Design and develop full-stack solutions across frontend, backend, cloud infrastructure, and deployment pipelines.
- Build the engineering platform, including CI/CD, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, and observability capabilities.
- Create reusable services, frameworks, libraries, tooling, and architectural standards from successful implementation patterns.
- Automate and standardize development workflows to improve engineering velocity, safety, and autonomy.
- Mentor engineers and partner with product leads and designers to raise technical standards and deliver valuable products.
Requirements
- Expert-level experience with React and TypeScript for frontend development.
- Deep experience building distributed backends in Go, Python, or TypeScript.
- Architectural and hands-on experience with a major cloud provider, specifically GCP or AWS, and Terraform.
- Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines built with tools such as GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
- Ability to design scalable, resilient, and observable systems.
- Practical understanding of monitoring, tracing, testing, and operational excellence, including Prometheus, Grafana, and Jaeger.
- Experience working closely with Product and Design teams to deliver user-valued solutions.
- 10+ years of experience spanning product engineering and platform/SRE work.
- Builder-oriented leadership, technical ownership, mentoring, and the ability to work effectively in ambiguity and greenfield environments.
