Base Salary
$152k - $282k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement a next-generation Resource Manager and AI developer tools for secure, policy-compliant data access across hybrid environments.
- Lead the design of scalable, event-driven resource-management microservices.
- Build developer tools for workflow orchestration, model management, observability, and operational efficiency.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to architectural decisions for AI infrastructure.
- Collaborate with Product owners, TPMs, and Compliance teams on end-to-end machine-learning model lifecycle experiences.
- Improve system reliability, performance, monitoring, and incident-management practices.
- Own critical platform initiatives from design through operation and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Eight years of professional software development experience, or six years with an advanced degree.
- Experience designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems in cloud environments.
- Proficiency in at least one of Java, Go, or Python.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and cloud-native development practices.
- Preferred experience with Kafka, Cassandra, ClickHouse, MongoDB, Kubernetes, Docker, gRPC, Spring, and microservices architecture.
- Preferred experience building infrastructure, tooling, or platforms for machine-learning and AI workloads.
- Preferred experience integrating with TensorFlow, PyTorch, ONNX, or similar AI/ML frameworks and pipelines.
- Preferred experience with Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack.
- Preferred expertise in Java Spring Boot, Hibernate, and data governance, compliance, and access control for distributed systems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical initiatives and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
