Responsibilities
- Build and enhance backend applications using Java.
- Design solutions that improve system reliability and scalability.
- Improve application performance and overall system stability.
- Own features from development through production.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams.
- Participate in planning, code reviews, and mentoring or coaching team members.
- Investigate production issues and support continuous improvement efforts.
- Write automated tests and support continuous delivery practices.
- Follow secure coding standards and support compliance requirements.
Requirements
- Professional experience developing backend systems.
- Experience working with Java.
- Understanding of system performance and concurrency.
- Familiarity with Git and continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
- Comfort working in a Linux environment.
- Ability to solve problems, learn new skills, communicate clearly, collaborate effectively, and take ownership of work.
